A Historic Moment for Girls Soccer in Citrus County!

This season, Nature Coast Soccer Club is proud to launch Citrus County's First-Ever Recreational All-Girls Soccer League.

For years, one of the biggest challenges facing girls soccer in smaller communities has been participation numbers. Too often, girls who want to play are placed on co-ed teams simply because there aren't enough girls registered. While many have great experiences, research and experience show that this is one of the main reasons girls eventually leave the sport. We believe girls deserve the opportunity to play with girls, compete with girls, and build friendships with teammates who share similar experiences both on and off the field.

That's why we're committed to creating more opportunities for female athletes. Our goal is simple: help more girls fall in love with the game, stay in the game longer, and experience the confidence, teamwork, and joy that soccer can provide. By creating an environment where girls can learn, grow, compete, and belong together, we hope to give every player a stronger connection to the sport and a better overall experience.
